Some Other Podcasts To Try…

Three Ravens is a myth, history, and fiction podcast, and podcasts can be about anything from documentaries to comedy shows to audio dramas to sports programmes.

If you’re new to podcasting, here are some series we would recommend to try.

5 Big Movers and Shakers

The History of England

One of the foundational ‘First Generation’ podcasts. An Englishman in his shed, retelling the story of England chronologically, starting with the Anglo Saxons. And he’s still going.

The Magnus Archives

Perhaps the most important audio drama podcast of the ‘Second Generation’ of podcasts. Like The Archers, only filled with cosmic horror and pleasingly progressive politics.

Redhanded

Great Britain’s most successful ‘Blue Chip’ true crime podcast. Multi-award-winning and loads of fun.

Serial

The true crime podcast which, in its first series, drew never-before-seen listener numbers to podcasting. Spin-off S Town is arguably even better.

Uncanny

The BBC’s hit ghost hunting series, presented in a documentary style. From writer and host Danny Robbins (Battersea Poltergeist, The Witch Farm), it’s one of the current greats.
